Happy 55th Anniversary Cohiba 2022
The 55th anniversary of the creation of the iconic Cuban Cigar, COHIBA will take place in the Cuban capital Havana from Wednesday 7th September to next Friday 9th, with the participation of approximately 650 national and foreign delegates who will delve into the essence and history of such an epic Cigar brand. The cigar which was conceived in 1966 and named after Celia Sánchez Mandule, the heroine of Sierra and Llano.
The reception will take place at the El Laguito Protocol Hall, where amateurs & professionals from the cigar world and specialized press will be able to meet the nominees for the 2021 Habano Prize in their various categories and enjoy the aroma and taste.
Central activities in these three days of celebrations are a visit to the El Laguito Twisted Tobacco factory in the capital, in which aspects of the work behind each cigar will be known, and in particular the famous Cohiba, which has had 55 years of success as the premium tobacco in the world and has become the most prestigious brand of Cuban cigars.
